The Great Shepard on the Niger made this appeal this morning during the mid-week service at Calvary Chapel. He made this known, after taking his bible reading from James 4:7, that there are two things christians should strive to do this Lenten season:
* SUBMIT TO GOD
* RESIST THE DEVIL BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE.
According to him, these two things are equally secrets to a successful Christian Life. He went further to encourage christians to always do the will of the Lord, which according to him, will cost us a lot, as their is no need to debate or rationalize the will of God. Certain things that are opposite the will of God should be relinquished, it is on this basis one can resist the devil.
