The Theme of the Conference

The theme, “FEED MY LAMBS” (John 21:15), which was exhaustively expounded is a timely and divine call for all Christians to responsibility to have a personal conviction to love Christ in order to be effective in doing the work of God. The Conference therefore, calls on all Christians not only to evangelize but also to disciple the new Converts and back backslidden Christians. Feeding them with the Word of God to restore them back to the fold. The theme is Channeling us to the actual mission of evangelization – Catching men for Christ and disciplining them to His glory.

STATE OF NATION

ANAMBRA STATE

The Conference commends the Stamina and zeal of the State Governor Prof. Charles Soludo CFR towards giving Ndi Anambra a new lease of life. The Conference also appreciates him for many completed and on-going projects in various urban and rural communities in the State.

DILAPIDATION OF SOME BASIC AMENITIES.

The Conference is worried about the rate of dilapidation of some basic amenities and the increasing number of erosion sites in the State, and calls our amiable and hardworking Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo CFR to:

Direct more efforts towards these erosion sites in the State especially in places like Iyi-Enu and the University on the Niger site, Umunya. Also, places like Nkisi River axis in Onitsha, Obosi, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Nanka and many other erosion devastated communities in the State that need urgent attention.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION

The Conference appreciates the Governor of Anambra on the Massive road Construction going on in the State and calls his attention to some pertinent areas thus..help us build the road leading from Onitsha- Enugu Express Road to the University on the Niger, Umunya and  the road leading to St. Christopher’s Junior Seminary, 3-3 to give a new lease of life to the students of these institutions. These roads have been in bad condition since the past few years.

FEEDER ROADS.

The Conference considers sincerely the impact of feeder roads towards to the development of our state. We implore our hard-working Governor to diligently consider constructing quality feeder roads along the Onitsha- Enugu Express Road at least up to Awka, the State Capital. The facility, if properly provided, will not only to prevent road accidents and save lives but will also bring sanity on that section of the highway.
