Students of the University on the Niger were exposed on February 2024, to a special spiritual, character, and leadership formation course titled “Christian Identity.”.

The course Christian Identity is one of the special courses offered by the university in her avowed commitment as a transformative and globally compliant tertiary institution.

The course, which is focused on mentoring the students into true Christian living and Godly leaders, is being facilitated by the Bishop on the Niger Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Nwokolo, and the Vice Chancellor of the University Very Rev. Prof. Chinedu Nebo.

The Bishop in his maiden lecture yesterday on the topic “Introduction to the Bible” taught the students on the rudiments of the Bible. The class which was inspirational, practical and interactive saw the students ask many searching and trendy questions about the Bible. The two hours lecture ended with the students expressing their earnest expectation for the next class.

The University on the Niger is poised and fashioned not just to educate students but to raise true Christians, release their God-given potential, and impact sterling leadership qualities in the students.
