The Great Shepard on the Niger made this appeal this morning during the mid-week service at Calvary Chapel. He made this known, after taking his bible reading from James 4:7, that there are two things Christians should strive to do this Lenten season:
SUBMIT TO GOD
RESIST THE DEVIL BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE.
According to him, these two things are equal secrets to a successful Christian life. He went further to encourage Christians to always do the will of the Lord, which, according to him, will cost us a lot, as their is no need to debate or rationalize the will of God. Certain things that are contrary to the will of God should be relinquished; it is on this basis that one can resist the devil.
