Gafcon Began Its Mini Conference in Texas with a call for Renewed Strength for Global Mission

The Gafcon G25 Mini Conference took place in Plano, Texas from March 11 to 14 with a special focus on encouraging newer bishops in Gafcon movement.
Gafcon represents 85% of the world’s 85 million Anglicans, and we believe that the only ‘Instrument of Communion’ that ultimately matters is the word of God.
This mini conference brought together 170+ global Anglican leaders—Primates, Advisors, Guarantors, Trustees, Regional Secretaries, Branch Chairs, Network Coordinators, Secretariat, and a number of valued observers, founding leaders, and family members—to seek God’s wisdom and strengthen the mission of the Church worldwide.

The conference began with a powerful Opening Eucharist Service on Tuesday evening, setting the tone for the days ahead.
Gafcon has continued its mission to gather, guard, and grow the Church, seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance in every conversation and decision.
The Bishop on the Niger the Rt Rev Dr Owen C. Nwokolo was one of the delegates at the mini conference.
